The Furniture & Cabinetry Process

Initial Consultation

An initial on-site meeting to view the cabinetry requirements or where the free standing piece of furniture will reside. We will discuss size and all necessary measurements will be taken and access will be assessed for ease of installation. Time frame and budget will also be discussed at this point so that the type of wood and finishings can be determined in line with the client’s budget.

Quote

A written quotation will be presented alongside detailed drawings of the piece when necessary. A timeframe will also be advised at this point so you can manage your project.

Installation

Free standing furniture will be delivered to your home and installed by Nick and, if needed, an assistant. The installation of fitted cabinetry can take longer due to the need for them to seamlessly fit, very often, in tight awkward spaces.

The Design Process

Initial Consultation

An initial meeting will take place at the property or at our office in Ascot to discuss the design process, timeframe, budget and most importantly the style and look desired.  We strive to make the process enjoyable and stress-free for our clients, so we can either take care of absolutely everything or we can work remotely, if that is preferred.  

Interior Design Costs & Packages

As every project varies in size and complexity, a quote will be tailored to the project’s requirements.  Interior Design is primarily about wanting a unique scheme for your home and this takes time, both sat at a desk designing and travelling to visit showrooms and sourcing samples for approval.  If however, you would like to follow a scheme from our portfolio, this  can reduce costs as the sourcing side of the job has already been done.  

The design service is charged at £5o ph plus VAT, with the initial consultation being complimentary.  It is also worth noting, that we share our industry trade discounts with our clients which very often go a long way towards the design costs.   

We want good design to be accessible to everyone, so we have created the following packages as a price starting point.   

Consultation Package

Site Visit or Zoom call whichever the client feels more comfortable with. 3d Room plan and furniture placement floor plans with suggested colour themes, furniture and hardware finishes.

From £250 + VAT

Show Home Package

Site visits. 3D Room plans, floor plans and placement of furniture. Schedule of all furniture, lighting, decor items, window treatments and soft furnishings required. Purchasing and storage of all everything required for the scheme. Implementation of furniture placement and design scheme. Meet with marketing photographer to assist with taking the brochure pictures.

2-3 Bed show home
£15,000 - £30,000*

4-5 Bed 2 Reception show home
plus terrace
£25,000 - £60,000*

*these costs include the furniture and decor items with prices ranging from standard retail furniture and decor to higher-end bespoke pieces and window treatments.

Deluxe Package

Minimum of 4 site visits to discuss, measure and meet trades
Written proposal of scheme, budget & timeframe
3D room plan and video. Floor Plans. Mood Boards
Client approval of all fabrics and finishes.
Handmade bespoke window treatments and soft furnishings
Purchasing, receiving and storing of all items for the scheme
Booking, managing and liaising with all tradespeople
Ensuring all aspects of the project stay on schedule and budget
Installation of a complete scheme

Sell my House Package

This service is ideal for those who want to entice buyers into their home with standout brochure pictures. 

The house will be dressed with items the seller will take with them to their new house.  Advice will be given on what should be edited ie boxed and stored in advance of work starting, however if required, this can also be done for an additional cost. 

This service works really well if the client can be on holiday during its implementation,  The package will include the following –

As many site visits required. Written proposal of scheme, schedule of items required, budget & timeframe. Mood Board where required for soft furnishings. Purchasing, receiving and storing all items except furniture. Booking, managing and liaising with tradespeople including gardening or landscaping team and a deep cleaning team of cleaners. Transportation of all items to site and installation of scheme.  Liaise with selling agents and assist the photographer in taking the best brochure pictures possible.
